Mediums and other things....

the use of white space is prominent in many of the paintings done prior to 2005,mostly on page 1...the motivation behind this was to let the colors stand for themselves...as well as flow freely in ones mind...the movement and the feeling of lightness and openness is created throughout, which let the colors of the palette tell their own story in their own white space..

...however...in 2005 the phenomenon of the 'black series' was born...born from the mere thought of 'is there such a things as black watercolor paper??'...after much searching... YES...i found it! ...and the piece 'Black Water', on page 1, came about. The use of the bold and metallic colors invading the black space was just too hard to resist, therefore I found myself enthralled in the mixture and contrast of colors and blackness...
the result is an amazing collection of paintings where the colors float in their own 'space'...these are mostly found on page 2
